Don't worry about the sheet being white, it is neat when they have sheets with designs on them.
Don't forget to sign up for the 5K on March 12th. There will be a spaghetti dinner the night before and you can pick up your packets then. The class with the most students signed up gets an IPAD!! Mrs. Berenger and I are teaming up and if we win the IPAD, we have offered an after school movie and popcorn event! The link is further down the blog! Thanks for your support. Thank you so much to Paige North's family for getting us this awesome rug for our classroom! I am in LOVE. The students have really enjoyed looking at all the states and places that we have learned about. As a teacher, I have to pick up on the hints that the students have given me and expand their knowledge! So I am attaching a video we started watching in the morning and afternoon on all the states! Enjoy! February 26th: Lego Night

I hope you enjoyed your extra 2 hours on Friday! I am still hoping for more snow this year, but doesn't look like it will happen! In Social Studies we will wrap up the causes of the Revolutionary War and have a test on Wednesday. After that we will start the battles of the war. We will have a TAX DAY on Thursday, should be interesting! We will also continue working in our reading books and finding text evidence to support answers we give. We will also continue using reference materials to find words and determine the part of speech, definitions, guide words, synonyms, and using them in a sentence. In writing we are working on a "Try this" writing. It is very interesting to hear the students explain why they want us to try something! Thank you for your support! Mrs. Borg |
