From Mrs. Borg:
Hello! Welcome to my classroom. I am excited about this year and look forward to getting to know every one of you.
Believe it or not, I am not always Mrs. Borg, the teacher. I am a mother of five children. Lindsay 29, Jared 26, Rachel 23, Tanner 10, and Spencer 13. They really keep me busy! We also have 2 Jack Russell Terriers, Kloe and Kirby.....I guess I love them dearly also, except when they chew something!
Notice how this picture is us acting crazy? That is how we are most of the time! We love to laugh and have fun. I carry that into my classroom. I love to laugh and have fun in my room.
My first career was as an accountant. Then, I stayed home with my children and enjoyed teaching them many things. I discovered that I really enjoyed making learning fun for them and I loved it when the "light bulb" would turn on when they understood something. I decided to go back to school for my degree in Early Childhood Education and finished in 2011. Then I completed my Master's degree in Instructional Technology, with an endorsement in Reading, in December of 2015. I finished my Gifted Endorsement in April of 2016 and in June I started my Specialist degree in Instructional Technology and will earn that in December of this year.
In my spare time (haha) I love to cook, craft, watch soccer, and go geocaching with my friends and family. If you have not tried geocaching, you need to go to geocaching.com and get started! It is so much fun! I look forward to getting to know you all!
