Hold your hats! We are coming in fast to the last week of school before break!
We will be continuing to study the 13 Colonies for Social Studies. On the 18th we will be having Colonial Day! They students will experience writing with a quill, silversmithing, making butter, playing games of Colonial times. They will be making their own bonnet (girl) or hat (boy) in class, but they are invited to dress up as Colonial children. Colonists came in all different forms, rich, poor, Pilgrims, Puritanism, etc. There are plenty of images on the internet and I have shared some with the students.
Our Holiday party will be on the 17th, which will also be the day of our test for the Colonies. Thank you to everyone that has signed up to send something in, if you missed it...look for the a sign up genius that was sent out. (I think Mrs. Berenger is sending her sign up out today.)
Have a great weekend!
